However, I hadn't thought about the fact that they both provided similiar reasons as to why they thought that. I agree with you that the women are portrayed as strong throughout the Odyssey. We saw a little bit of character development in Gilgamesh, but one thing I really like about this story is that Odysseus develops a lot more and he seems to be more relatable. The changes he undergoes as he continues through his trials just make him seem even more relatable and easier to sympathize with.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"42072616","dateCreated":"1315362486","smartDate":"Sep 6, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"mscothartman","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/mscothartman","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1282414428\/mscothartman-lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/bsuhonorshum.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/42072616"},"dateDigested":1532652823,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"odyssey","description":"I think you're right that Odysseus's family makes him seem more relatable.
