The first question could become more specific--are you asking there about the relation between Greek mythology and Greek religion?

I saw Odysseus become less and less of a hero as the story went on, whereas you seemed to think that he became more heroic with the passing of time. I did really like what you said about him concerning his flaws, though, and that made me re-evaluate him myself. While I still feel he could be more heroic, even with flaws, I cannot argue that it is the presence of these flaws that make him so relatable, and you bringing that up somewhat redeems and rebuilds in a sense my respect for him, because it is the everyday heroes that I hold high in appraise rather than those who may be seen as "perfect".","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"42305456","dateCreated":"1315790379","smartDate":"Sep 11, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"weswise","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/weswise","imageUrl":"https:\/\/ssl.wikicdn.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/bsuhonorshum.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/42305456"},"dateDigested":1532652829,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"The Odyssey 9-6-11","description":"I agree with your thoughts on Odysseus being a hero. At first he seemed to be pretty bad but as the story goes along he seems to get better. I remember talking about story heroes in high school. We learned that every hero has flaws, a requirement which Odysseus definitely completes.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"42068998","dateCreated":"1315358432","smartDate":"Sep 6, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"mscothartman","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/mscothartman","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1282414428\/mscothartman-lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/bsuhonorshum.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/42068998"},"dateDigested":1532652829,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"odyssey","description":"You're right.
