I saw Odysseus become less and less of a hero as the story went on, whereas you seemed to think that he became more heroic with the passing of time. I did really like what you said about him concerning his flaws, though, and that made me re-evaluate him myself. At first he seemed to be pretty bad but as the story goes along he seems to get better.  I remember talking about story heroes in high school.
