It's very specific, but there is a ton of material on Allegory of the Cave. You should be able to find lots of interpretations.
\n
\nKeep in mind that the Allegory is from the larger work, The Republic, so you might want to look for info on that.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"42270564","dateCreated":"1315694664","smartDate":"Sep 10, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"cjohnson1341","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/cjohnson1341","imageUrl":"https:\/\/ssl.wikicdn.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/bsuhonorshum.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/42270564"},"dateDigested":1532652876,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"Oh!","description":"Aw I'm sorry you had a head cold X( But I did laugh out loud when you said everything was more hilarious because you were delirious. Happens to me all the time XD For me, the Odyssey was a much more enjoyable read and much easier than before now that we got into the story more. I sometimes even forgot I was reading something for Honors 201 and not a book I bought for myself. As for the audio? LOVED IT. I agree that reading it first is a good idea, but it really does hit home when you actually get to immerse yourself in the story.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"42259140","dateCreated":"1315664245","smartDate":"Sep 10, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"mkmanor","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/mkmanor","imageUrl":"https:\/\/ssl.wikicdn.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/bsuhonorshum.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/42259140"},"dateDigested":1532652876,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"9\/2\/11","description":"So, I am responding to the introduction, if you will, of your entry on 9\/2\/11. Do not feel intimidated by everyone in the class; we are all a different type of specialist. Often I think the same thing, I never read The Odyssey is high school, therefore, I will find myself thinking I don't understand as well, but truthfully I just don't have the experience and past discussions as so many have.
\nI love your study idea. I think reading out loud does help significantly because you are reading and hearing so it's a double threat :)","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"42074526","dateCreated":"1315364798","smartDate":"Sep 6, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"mscothartman","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/mscothartman","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1282414428\/mscothartman-lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/bsuhonorshum.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/42074526"},"dateDigested":1532652876,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"odyssey","description":"So cool that you are reading it out loud. My wife and I used to do that with Shakespeare when we were in school. It is easier to understand and a lot closer to the original experience than reading silently.
\n
\nYou'll find your ground in class. I'm not used to being in a room with so many smart people either! It's fun. I hope you think so.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
