I myself speak sarcasm as a fourth language (after English, L33t, and ridiculous accents of course), so seeing you reflect that style in your writing was simply awesome to me. I apologize that you are reading this for about the trillionth time, but at least you have a little more insight into what's going on and you can think of things or deeper meanings that you hadn't thought of before. I liked that you related Odysseus' being gone for twenty years and journeying home for ten to you being eight years old ten years ago. Never would I have thought of it that way, and yes, it is nearly unimaginable that he was still hoping and dreaming of home after all those years and all of the difficult trials he had to face. I haven't read this OR Gilgamesh before this class, and although it could have been a smoother transition, I have found it simple to criticize and laugh at things I'm reading. Sorry, I didn't mean to get into a rant about MY life there. Any who, nice writing!
